Club History | Club Sponsors | Club Charities | Club ContactsIn 1957 a group of Italian men decided that they wanted to promote their heritage. They were proud to be Italian and they wanted to meet and assist with the assimilation of other Italian families moving to the Valley of the Sun. They had been gathering at Riazzi's, an Italian restaurant on East Van Buren. Over an informal cup of coffee it was decided, "What this town needs is an Italian Club!" AND WE WERE BORN, in Riazzi's storeroom (we eventually moved up to the dining room), later moving to our current location at 7509 North 12th Street in North Phoenix.
Wonderful, caring and respectful men were our inception but did you notice that "Italian" is the third word in our name? We are Arizonans, We are Americans, We are Italians. We also have a large "social" (non Italian-ancestral) membership.
